Company representatives to highlight public-sector executive recruiting offering, compensation consulting services and online Human Resources solutions
DALLAS — The Waters Consulting Group, a leader in compensation consulting and executive recruiting for public-sector organizations, today announced plans to exhibit at the 101st Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Texas Municipal League, which takes place October 8-11 in Austin.
“We’re pleased to be among the exhibitors at the Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Texas Municipal League, an organization we have long supported,” said Waters Consulting Group President Rollie Waters. “We’ll be there to talk about several trends we’re seeing, among them an increase in the number of public-sector organizations seeking compensation consulting.”
Waters said interest in compensation consulting is growing as public-sector organizations and their employees shake off the effects of the recession. While Waters Consulting has experience in a range of pay systems, the firm recently has been retained by two public-sector organizations looking to institute a skills-based pay system. Rollie Waters has long been an advocate of skills-based pay. The fourth edition of his book, The Public Sector’s Guide to Skills-based Pay, is being prepared for release soon.
In Austin the Waters team will be led by Chuck Anderson, CEO of Waters Consulting’s Executive Search Group, and Ruth Ann Eledge, CEO of Waters’ Management Consulting Group. Eledge will discuss compensation services and Anderson will focus on alerting attendees to the executive recruitment Waters is coordinating for a new city manager for Irving, Texas.
The conference and exhibition are being held in the Austin Convention Center. The Waters Group booth is No. 660.
