Coaching & Team-Building Programs
While each organization has unique goals and needs for establishing a mentoring program, Waters & Company’s approach centers around the development of our competency model using the Competency Based Behavioral Profile© System. Through this resource, mentors and mentorees have an objective resource from which to start and measure progress
Programs can include a selection of the topics below
Training for Coaches & Mentors:
One-half day training sessions on our CBBP systems are customized and focused on interpretation of output reports and goal-setting.
Development and presentation of four training modules annually by Waters* Company senior consultants on those competencies with greatest need by participants based on evaluation of group reports.
Coaching Telephone Panel Discussions:
Scheduled six times during the year of one-hour in duration
Topics focus on competencies represented in the CBBP system
Procedure includes panelists (determined by Waters & Company) and participants who will call into a designated telephone via conference call mode at pre-set dates and times. Web-based presentations may be utilized
Designed for new or aspiring city managers or department heads who would be assigned to a Waters & Company consultant. Coaching sessions typically encompass 2-6 sessions with each coach
Format is a monthly newsletter
Participants e-mail questions on topics regarding career issues. These topics are being forwarded anonymously to a team of organizational key-managers.
